It's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood...

What a fantastic day. The sky was clear, the sun was warm and I had great clients. The pace was nice and steady without any drama. Just the way I like it. Easy peasy. Okay, I like a little drama just to keep me on my toes. It makes things fun.

After work I went for a run/walk. I'm not a runner by any means of the definition. But I am trying. Alas the word walk in the previous sentence. How do people run continuously for hours on end? I can only do a few minutes at a time. I just don't have the stamina. Not yet anyway.

Running through High Park is definitely nicer than the treadmill but there are a few disadvantages:
  • hills
  • you pass the french fry stand (I love deep fried goodness)
  • bugs
  • pounding the pavement (I swear all the compression has made me an inch shorter)

Hopefully I will have a blissful sleep and feel fresh and energized for my day tomorrow. I have a few "challenging" clients coming in. I'll need all my rest. Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite.
