Fun in the Sun

We went to the Ex last week and managed to spend a small fortune. I expected this but I am always still amazed when I see my empty wallet at the end of the night. The weather was perfect and I got to eat all my treats. Mmm....

This is truly a classic ride. A great way to end the night. We were all exhausted and slept like baby piglets.

Let's go to the EX

The CNE opened it gates on Aug 15th and I plan on going with my family sometime this week. I love the EX. The games, air show, horses, rides and of course the food. Mmm....funnel cake and ice cream. I can taste it now.

I have many fond memories of going to the Ex when I was a kid. I remember being too tired to walk and my oldest brother would carry me around. Yes, I was spoiled. Actually I still am and I like it. This drives a particular female family member crazy. She's just jealous.

Now I'm creating new memories for my daughter. She's being going every year since she was born. She looks forward to going every year. Only now she prefers to "hang" with a friend than with me. This doesn't make me sad. It makes proud to see her growing up.

On another note, I'm on the hunt for some new jeans that aren't too low on the rise that my lady parts aren't peeping out while scooting. I'm not crazy about jean shopping. It's so hard to find the right fit. I usually luck out at American Eagle. Eaton Centre, here I come.
