Visits with my Mom are always a great comfort to me. Especially when I've had a roller coaster week. She's very supportive of me and doesn't lecture me too much. Only occasionally in my grown up life do I get the talk. Mom stayed for the weekend on an unexpected visit. She's the only person in the whole world that I don't mind just showing up at my door. I prefer to know when visitors are coming. I find it inconvenient for people to just show up without even a phone call. Why do they do this? We all have cell phones these days. Never the less I had a nice weekend with the family. This helps me get out of the funk that I've been in lately. I can feel it lifting.
