We've had a lot of rain lately. It is washing away all the pretty snow and revealing a really ugly mess. High Park is looking really mucky right now. I guess that means no tobogganing for now. Sigh...
The rain means frizzy hair. Unless you want to walk around with a toque on your head you'd better be prepared for a messy do. Hair usually does one of two things in high humidity. Flat and limp if you have fine and thin hair. Fuzzy and untamed if you have medium to coarse hair.
Other than wearing a toque here are a few things you can do to help you from looking like a drowned rat. For finer hair, use a little less product than normal. Yes, I said less. This is because if your hair gets wet, you end up with a matted mess. So less is best. For medium to coarse hair, rely on anti-frizz serum. I personally like ones made with linseed oil. In this case you need to apply more than usual to help "weigh" down unwanted fly aways. If all else fails, a sleek ponytail will do. Short hair? Hmm... wear a hat...

How about a hat?
Yes! I love hats. As long as it's stylish.
