Last Saturday night I went to the Spoke Club to see Slim Williams play. He mixes modern music (anything from Twisted Sister to Hall and Oats, o.k. so that's not modern but you get the picture) and makes it kind of Jazzy , Bluesy, R&Bish. We only got to see the second half of his show but it was really great. Schmoozed with some pretty cool people too.
So far I've I haven't seen that many celebrities for the TIFF. Mark Ruffalo and Sandra Oh and some other not so famous Canadians. I would love to have bumped into Brad Pitt. Correction, I would love to smashed into Brad Pitt.
Last year I saw more celebrities and went to a way cooler party at the W Studio. They also had great swag bags last year. This time around I didn't get my hands on one. I guess I'll just have to win one!

I've been hearing alot about this Spoke Club, must be pretty swanky by the sounds of it. Yeah the big stars are hiding and getting out of town quickly. Wonder if the TIFF has peaked? But do you think you could put a sentence together if you ran into Brad Pitt?

As for Brad. I'd just have to drug him and take him away with me. LOL. I actually don't know what I'd say. I think it would be one of the few occasions where I would be lost for words.
