Well, things didn't quite workout the way I wanted this weekend. We didn't end up going to Guelph. We did however end up at the Distillery District. I love this area. It's a historical site with nice shopping and restaurants. I like The Broiler House and Pure Spirits oyster house and grill. My fave is Soma Chocolate. If you love chocolate, especially dark, you've got to go there. They have this amazing hot chocolate that is like liquid ganache. Mmm..... I can just about taste it right now. They also serve a dark chocolate espresso with whipped cream. And I must mention there gelato. Yummy. They all make me feel so happy inside. Like a tickle to the tummy.
All is good with the Sharon
As we browsed around checking out the artisans and shops I ended up buying another pair of shoes. Birkenstocks. Can you believe it! I think it was some kind of subliminal shopping experience. I'm still in shock over it. I must go out tomorrow and purchase a completely uncomfortable pair of stilettos to counterbalance things.

I have no idea what birkenwhatchacallitstock is. But it sounds like a jazzy shoe to add to your mounting collection. Hmmm, could you wear a different shoe every day of the year without wearing the same shoe twice? Ah yes, the Soma chocolate, very good indeed. I always get a hunk when I'm in the neighbourhood.
I think I have enough shoes for about 8 months without a repeat. What's a girl to do?
Birkenstocks, alas, are not jazzy...and I must say not what I picture Sharon wearing. Get some heels now before you end up buying some batik outfit to complete the hippie look ;).
Trust me Christine, I'm on it!
