Saw Kung Fu Panda last Sunday with the family. Hilarious. Jack Black was perfect for the part of the Panda named Po. Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan and Lucy Liu were also in this movie. They didn't really have alot of dialogue but were also great. When we got to the theatre our desired showtime was already sold out. We went bought tickets for the next showing. We had an hour to kill so we played in the arcade. It's pretty fast blowing your cash at the arcade. We love video games. To spend an hour at an arcade isn't really killing time for us. I must admit some of the games are very violent so we just stuck to the usual stuff. Car racing, air hockey, and some army shoot 'em up game. I got my butt whipped on all occasions.
This past Wednesday I spent my whole morning at the MTO to do the written test for my M1 license. What an annoying processes. First, there is the long line up at the general inquires desk where they check your I.D. and then give you a ticket number for another line up. There, you pay for your test ($17) and they check your vision (20/20 I find this hard to believe since I have glasses even though the prescription is not much). I am then sent off to the written tests room. Yes another line. It's so quiet in there you can hear a pin drop. Quiet until a mother and her poor hungry baby come in and her little boy that is running all over the place. There is also a family of three boys running amok with the first little boy. Now it looks like a day care. A staff member comes over carrying the first boy and tells the mother to control her child. All this is very distracting for the others who are trying to write their tests. My name was finally called and when all was said and done, I got my little piece of paper that permits me to ride and went home. Woo Hoo!

Wow that's sounds like a banner wednesday! Congrats on getting your license, though I'm quite concerned about you riding a scooter in the city. Yesterday, I saw an idiot make a right turn without even looking, and a woman on a bike had to turn to avoid being hit. The driver didn't even notice and kept driving. Had she not swerved off, she would have been hit and probably run over. So be careful!!
Thanks Rance. I'm a bit concerned too. That's why I'm taking a safety course in a few weeks. Can't wait.
