When I was a kid going back to school meant new clothes and school supplies. I'd buy things like pencils, pencil crayons, binders paper, pencil case and of course and new lunch box. Now I'm buying things like flash drives, software, ink and toner. I was already prepped for these purchases as I've been buying this stuff for my daughter for a few years now. I just hope we get ebooks instead of regular text books. It'll be a whole lot lighter on my back. I fear looking like a turtle with my back pack stuffed with books.
I love shopping for this stuff, even more than the back to school clothes. It's all so exciting. How things have changed.

wow, an E-book would be fantastic. I remember all those books, ugh! We didn't get to do too much of the clothes shopping, budget was tight, but what we did get was so much fun. And then looking at all the clothes others started wearing with the new school, that was fun. oh, I do remember I always got my haircut - fitting for a future hairstylist!!
Ah haaaaa. I remember your back to school clothes. You always made such a big deal out of it. You were definitely more interested in the clothes than the supplies back then. Oh, "How things have changed". lol
Yes Grace, I remember getting my back to school haircut too! Sadly, I had a really bad one going into junior high school. I mean reallllly bad....
Did you bring an apple for the teacher?
