Dry parched hair can lead to a frizzy and unruly do. What causes our tresses to become this way? There are a few things we can ask ourselves before we address the solution.
- Is your hair naturally coarse and dry?
- Do you use heat appliances? (blowdryer or flat iron)
- Do you use conditioner on a regular bases?
- When was the last time you had a trim?
- Is your hair chemically treated? (colour, perm, highlights)
- What is your environment? (outdoors, dusty)
These are the most common reasons your hair could be lacking lustre. Firstly, I cannot stress enough how important it is get regular trims. If your hair begins to split it will continue to do so until the split ends are removed. No conditioner or treatment will mend them. Having said that make sure to use a shampoo and conditioner for your hair type. Avoid washing daily. And use a treatment ever 7 - 10 days.
