The colour class went well. I didn't have too many issues. It was definitely a long day. The stylist were divided into two groups. Junior and Senior Stylists. It's always the Seniors that give me the hardest time as they forget the basics. Kind of like driving. You do it for so long you start to take shortcuts. Next thing you know, BAM, an accident. Same thing with colour. You get comfortable doing it day in and day out, you start making some shortcuts and BAM you turn a clients hair green, or orange, or uneven or something to that effect. Then you have to backtrack and figure out where you went wrong and what you have to do to fix it. The problem with Senior Stylist is they think they know it all. Well, the do. They've been doing it for so long they forget the fundamentals. That's where I come in. Owners bring me in the straighten things out. You have to tread very carefully when dealing with the Seniors. They can be touchy creatures. Especially when they think they don't need a class. I gently remind them of the fundamentals of colour theory. (Sometimes I want to scream at them too but I must be patient with them.) The Juniors are always great. They ask a ton of questions and are eager to learn.
All in all, it was a good class. All is good with the Sharon.

I bet you are very patient when you teach.
I can be very patient Christine. Even if I feel like ripping all my hair out. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
